The Convergence for Sustainable Livelihood project intends to facilitate the economic empowerment of small farmers and fisher folks in Northern Iloilo in order to have viable livelihood within their respective communities. The convergence of resources for this particular project is designed to enhance the prospects for profitability and sustainability of social business enterprises that would be equitably owned by more than 1,200 small fisher folks and farmers - who are also Typhoon Yolanda's survivors.
Through the said project, two buildings will be constructed – one is the Cooperative Store and another one is the Common Service Facility (CSF). The CSF will be the site for processing, packing and warehousing of products that the small fisher folks and farmers would want to advertise and market.
