The Commission on Filipinos Overseas, through its Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino or LINKAPIL Program, would like to appeal for financial assistance to benefit our kababayans in Metro Manila and Rizal province, who were affected by Typhoon Carina.

The assistance we collect will be used to distribute relief items or implement rehabilitation projects to the affected and temporarily displaced families in the affected areas. This endeavor is in coordination and partnership with the Tzu Chi Foundation – Philippines, a duly registered non-government organization.

In coordination with the Foundation, initially, there were 7,000 families affected in Marikina and the municipalities of Rodriguez and San Mateo in Rizal that need assistance.
