CFO AND WATER.ORG SIGN PACT TO IMPROVE WATER SANITATION CONDITIONS IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE LINKAPIL PROGRAM
Quezon City – The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) and Water.org formalized their partnership to improve water and sanitation conditions in underserved communities through the Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino (LINKAPIL) program.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by CFO Chairperson, Secretary Dante Ang II and Water.org Regional Director for Southeast Asia, Ms. Griselda Santos, with Undersecretary Ma. Arlene S. Borja and Portfolio Manager Arvin Longcop serving as witnesses.
The LINKAPIL is a CFO initiated program that engages overseas Filipinos to partner with institutions to promote development through livelihood initiatives, educational assistance, and small-scale infrastructure projects.
