Calamity Relief and Rehabilitation Project

Rationale: Calamities, such as typhoons, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes ravage the Philippines every year leaving vast areas devastated in their aftermath. They oftentimes claim lives, displace families, and destroy livelihood. Communities often take long to recover.

How you can help: Provide relief assistance to areas hit by calamities or natural disasters. While calamity relief assistance are short term measures meant to provide immediate aid for survival, rehabilitation is intended to provide a long term and more sustainable impact to victims and survivors of calamities.

How it works: Assistance through this project may be in the form of cash donations, food and other basic necessities in cooperation with humanitarian agencies and non-government organizations licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Assistance may also include construction materials and livelihood capital grants.
